I haven't been very active in this subforum, but neither have I been with my camera.
Here comes 2 pictures, taken at the same spot, one at summer and one ~ one week ago.
One thing I found interesting was the difference in my choice of cropping 5 months later.
The difference in composition is because of the storm that was going on, there just was no way I'd sit that close to the water just to get a good angle! ^^
At the first picture I used the built in nd-filter in my fujifilm x100, plus an additional one.
In the second one I thought I'd maybe crank the iso up a bit, but I didn't.

Some of you might remember me as hestJaevel

maybe you could crop out the far right chairs and platform, it distracts from the rocks/seascape without adding too much imo. whatever the bench was facing is out of frame so it really does nothing for me.

Mixed opinions about that one. I like honest ones. Thank you! :)

I really like the fog, I am just not sure on the right side of it. If it was composed like the first shot I think it would look better, but it is still interesting nontheless. It also could be one of those things that if you did crop out the bench part, it wouldn't have the same effect. :)

The next time it's so darn windy I'll take my chances and see what I can do about that bench.. I need some thin gloves that protect against wind though, or my hands will go numb once again :P

the first shot is a little boring, nothing to keep my attention, pretty yes, but thats about it
the 2nd shot has a lot more character
