I've cut it. I'm not really into photography anymore, which ironically is when all of a sudden every couple in town here wants photographs. I've turned everyone away though, I just lost the enjoyment in it when always doing it for others. Became boring and repetitive.
I've changed paths drastically though, went through some couple month(s) courses for IT work and just got my foot in with a pretty big consulting firm in IT / buying. Definitely not photography related at all.
Camera had been collecting dust in a bag in the closet for the past however many months though, and the other night I saw a couple guys posting up on twitter about the northern lights over here, which is extremely rare, I've never seen them before in my life.
Looked out my window thinking I wouldn't see anything - only to be surprised with this faint green glow in the sky.
Ran outside at 11:30pm got in the car ripped as far north as possible off in the back country roads until I came to this decent spot that I kinda liked, with the seemingly abandoned construction vehicles. Was pretty sweet.
