has anyone experienced it on a d7000? the 28-200 is used on my F5 and i love it. what is your guys opinion with these lens on a d7000 just to test

i see no reason why it shouldnt work?! its a fx lens, so you could alsp use it on a d700 / d800 d3 (s,x) / d4 ....

note: the nikon 18-200 is more versatile on a dx body! since it a wider angle...

thanks im just really curious how the sharpness/iq will look like because my d7000 should be coming around next week. the price was a steal (:

should be "fine" if not get a 50mm 1.8 (it`s around 180$ or so) and does a good job for portraits / street / etc

well i have a 35mm g and does a pretty good job. i never used a 50mm, heard good review on them but never had a chance to test it. anyone want to give give me a compare and contrast between the two?
