rather boring all round

As said the pose is really awkward. For black and whites I always try to keep the contrast decently high. It's a personal preference I guess but it helps the photo from looking really flat.

what others said and those flip-flops make it funny.

i think its more the toes curling over - holding on for dear life

I overall do not like the composition. I would say work on rule of thirds as well.

this is plain horrible
eyes look like she is drugged up, lighting is horrible, harsh and i am guessing on camera
composition / angle is wrong, pose is bad, i wouldve had her lying on the diagonal trunk

Wil agree with you about the first pic being a bad pose.
But in the second picture the pose is great, but instead of looking away, she was looking at the camera, an she is wearing mascara. You are very pretty btw hula.
