And I had a blast :D. It was super short because it was really hot out, but it still went great. Just wanted to show my favorite picture thus far (I took a ridiculous 400+ total, but I did inside shots of just the baby also) and get a little feedback. Im still trying to find my editing style, but its definitely weighing on the bright and slightly vintage side.



Just a crop, not sure which version I like better.

i would sure like to see more photos, not rly interesting with that 1 here.
the first one without crop i dont like.

b&w one u did well i guess, hard to keep decent b&w with too much stuff around( trees and all)

The reason I liked it is because both the kids are looking forward, it was kind of difficult to get a shot with both kids doing that. The dad made some funny faces a lot too, lol. But yeah, Ill probably post more here as I dig through them.

Heres one of just the baby, Ill post some later of the ones I got from when she was a newb. She has some really bad baby acne right now, so I had to do a lot of skin smoothing and cloning..hope I didnt overdo it :/

she looks too red for me
and i think you over sharpened the eyes, it would look fine on an adult but it looks damn freaky on a baby

Thanks, I needed to know that. For some reason Im super awful about reds; the other day I went to print pictures and I couldnt believe how red they came out. I had to do a color balance with -20 on reds to get it right :/

The normal picture wont be that sharp though, its only like that because I ran a sharpen for fb action, otherwise it will look lq on there.

How are the colors on this? I did what I normally do then I desaturated the reds also.

I think it's that reflection on the eyes making it creepy. If you could photoshop that, it would help.

The eyes arent overdone, I didnt even do anything to them except to sharpen for the web, and that was all over the image. That family just has crazy pretty eyes.

Heres their son..again, nothing done to his eyes.
