I have a Dell inspiron 1545 and I will be upgrading in a few months.
I've had this laptop for nearly 3 years.
But for the meantime I need a good(ish) video editing software that isn't Windows Movie Maker or anything like that.

I am basically wondering if there is an editing software for video such as Adobe After Effects that can support my specifications.
Maybe an older version of AE?
I was looking something with maybe slow motion control in it also.

My specs are as follows:
Pentium (R) Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00GHz
RAM: 3.00
32bit OS
250GB Hard drive
Windows 7.

I'm not sure if this is enough information, let me know if more is needed.

I use Cyberlink Powerdirector 10. It's like a really advanced windows movie maker. I say that because it has the similar timeline layout. It gets the job done really well, but the part I like about it is even if you're editing 1080 footage you can have it show a low quality version while editing to avoid lag.

I like the adobe set-up.. Like Premier and After Effects.. It's what I use at least (not free though)

Nope it didn't..
