Its for her birthday, she wants a small digital camera like this one.
Don't know much about camera's hope you guys can help thanks
Her B-day is in about 1month so i have tons of time

I was searching for the Canon elph cameras and noticed they came out with a new version, and it's a pretty blue
(what girlfriend wouldn't want this? lol)

For your price range, I'm not really sure what the best one out there is. This one is obviously more money. I know they have older models though. I do trust Canon and their small compact cameras, though. It's all I really know.

nikon make decent entry lvl point and shoot cameras, so she / you should be happy with that nikon
just stick you canon or nikon, some panasonics are ok
sony at a similar price are lower in quality
