Dress like a wanna-be artsy hipster with a large camera. Walk into a Starbucks wanna-be local coffee shop because Starbucks is too mainstream. Go to the cashier and give some hipster excuse as to you will not be ordering anything and would rather take pictures. (in reality you can't order anything because your parents stopped sending you $ because you dropped out of school to focus on your "art." The money you managed to scrap together from your posse of pseudo-intellects, you used all of it and bought an overly expensive camera.
But I digress....
Now the hunting begins!

All I read was the bolded part, and felt like answering it.

I didn't really have a reason as to 'why' I chose photography. I was young when I first picked up my parents film camera (a kodak something) and I was taking pictures of my brother and his friends skateboarding. I thought it was really fun to try to catch them in mid air and capture that moment. I also liked to get a cool angle and not just some snap shot. Maybe there is a reason why I got into it, because I enjoyed that very moment I was taking photos of my brother. I do wish he still did that, I would really enjoy taking photos of skateboarding again. I hope to do this again sometime. After that, it was my goal to get a camera of my own, and I worked at it. Here I am now!
