Not much happens in my small city, but when a fire breaks down, the word is out as soon as it happens. It happened at around 6:30 in the morning, and I woke up at 7:30 and already knew about it. This is the second largest fire since I've lived here. I've never been in a place that has had so many fires O_o Anyway, I took a few snaps, it was disappointing to find out that I could have most likely got closer to the building, but I played it safe and stayed outside the police lines. I damn myself for not trying, though. And I also damn myself for not getting a shot of the other side. The building was demolished today, so there's no going back for more shots. I was too late. I did get to see a lot of snaps from other people, though.

Those bricks arent 100 years old though, so someone restored the building then it burnt down, must be a pain >.<

I don't really know what was restored or not. All I know is that the building was built in 1912. How do you know the bricks aren't that old?

Glad you like the pictures.

Thanks! Omg, I love the walking dead, I never even thought of that!

Yes, I am very fascinated by burnt buildings as well... not terrible in my mind! There was lots of people taking pictures, so we aren't the only ones  I wish I would have had a camera when the last fire happened here!

OMG serious??? Season 2 started off slow - but they needed to show what they did to kick off season 3 and on. The last 2-3 episodes of season 2 kick it off pretty damn good for season 3 - it's a long wait unfortunately to wait for season 3 and I cannot wait! If you want to know, I'll tell you, but make sure that's what you want to do  I have edited my post before this one, meant to say more but replied to quick xD

Yesss. It did start off really slow, until the end anyway. And then I kept hearing from everyone how boring it was because they just stay in a barn the whole time, kind of put me off. Gah I hate how long everyone takes between seasons now, drives me nuts. The wait for season 2 of Spartacus damn near killed me.

I will have to download them since you said it was good xD

I do this stuff every day :P
the bricks are still really clean and sharp on the edges, in the first picture you can see the side of the building a little, those brick are at least 25 years old but even they have been replaced.
the ones in the front are probably less than 5-6 years old. Paying for re-bricking is pretty expensive. Especially when the buildings as old as that.

Oh haha I just wondered how you knew :D Guess that makes sense! Not sure why they'd go through all the hassle to re-brick. Who knows. I do know that there were 7 people that lived inside there. Low income living, and they all lost their stuff :(
