I don't know where to search for this, or best brands. Do you guys have great websites where I could look at many good cams?

Also, what do I need to look for when looking at the specs?

I want something that will make amazing quality pictures and videos.

Thanks!

If you have not a lot to spend:

Any nikon entry SLR

If you have a medium budget:

Any canon intermediate SLR

If you have unlimited budget:

Leica M9

If you have photography knowledge/experience and a low budget:

mamiya / fuji / hassleblad 645 camera (in the order for price - cheapest first)

If you have photography knowledge/experience and a unlimited budget:

Mamiya 6 or mamiya 7 with 43mm 75mm and 150mm lens'

If its your first camera do not bother getting bogged down with specs as the photographer makes the photos good not the camera.

And lens more important than camera. Spend more on the lens than the body if needs be!
