Just bought a Canon EOS 60D and have been having some fun. Really enjoying it so far. Going to get into more and more.

looks nice. try resizing the image next time. you can do this with a post-processing program.

I ordered lightroom the other day when it was on sale for $100 - I see that it is super large :D
What is a decent size for fourm posting ?

Still leaning lots.

Also I had to take the image size down for a 10.8mb to 2.8 or so - What do you use to Host your images so you can post them on the fourms ?

Hey mate

I usualled resize images for web at 72ppi and 800 pixels at the long edge and convert to sRGB for web browsers.

This can be done in lightroom but I prefer to do it in Photoshop as the "save for web" feature is quite accurate in converting to sRGB.
