So I really want to do macro photography but my parents said the 100mm is to expensive, well not my parents my step mom said it was to expensive my dad didnt care.
SOOO Ima get the 50mm macro so i can have some macroness. Does anyone know how to make a decent Backdrop for macro photography?
Should I just get white or black sheets of paper and just tape it together on like a wall and desk?

And why stuff getting closed O.e

canon makes a 50mm macro lens that is different from the normal 50mm lens, assuming you use a canon

You can buy 53" wide seamless white or black for about $20 US a roll. You can go cheaper, take a large sketch book and take a sheet out. Tape on wall, shoot. You can go to the charity shop aka second hand store, buy something there, black linen, white linen, whatever. Tack to wall, light it, shoot it. You can do it a hundred ways. The key will be lighting and if you don't have enough artificial light maybe consider taking it outside, you'll want to diffuse the light with a white sheet or something white. Use a color checker to ensure accurate colors in post. Light it, shoot it. You can use white paper outside to reflect light and fill in shadows. I am speaking from a budget mind.
