I had some extra cash laying around a while back, so I bought a Pentax K-X. I'm still an extreme noob to DLSR's but am learning. I hope to gain some insight poking around this forum from time to time

Good job! You seem to be getting exposure down right.

Few tips: try learning photoshop so you can work on multiple exposure levels.
study art history and composition theory to improve the snap-shot-like quality of your images.

i have just read a lot of books and looked at articles and tuts and studied other peoples photos to learn things. but next semester i am actually taking a photography class lol... figure ill get credits and might actually learn something.

I took a class on photography too. A'd it, learned nothing.

I have gotten an A in every class in college for 2 and a half years. waste of 40k a year.

If you don't get an A in every class in college, you shouldn't be in college.

unfortunately stupid corporations will note hire me until i have a degree. but im moving to japan anyways... hopefully get a job at a good studio over there.

a smart guy like you should be working for yourself.

i would love to own my own production company some day, but i suppose i have to get to know the industry first
