Currently I have a 1000d my first dale have had it for a year now. And I feel like I need something better xD. I am on a budget so it has to be under 500. I would like to stay canon because I have lens already. So all I need is a body. I was thinking a 40d used on amazon. Any body have any other suggestions?

used 60D. You'll find someone selling it at a low price eventually. It's sensor is relatively new, and it's got sexy features.

If I was you I would wait longer till u had more money. I mean is there any reason you need a new body now?

dont need it right now but i would like one right now or soon xD
I want it for the faster fps, better noise & higher iso performance.
I dont mind not having video but hd video would be cool.
60D sounds good, 7D is a little to expensive.
I also want a larger camera, the 1000d is really small for my hands

50d is outdated. 60d is relatively new and affordable.
