is that a good deal for me?

i'm going to india in the winter and am going to be touring places like the taj mahal, some caves, temples, etc...but other than that i also will use it to take some portraits and random sports photography...will this camera serve my purpose?

portraits sure, not sure about sports. idk about the high speed shutter on the t2i talk to nikon or onepagearmory

You can get a D90 for about the same price as a 5100. I'd take a 90 over a 5100 any day. I threw the 7000 in there because its basically the 90 replacement, yeah its slightly more pricey.

800 is my budget for everything (memory card, lenses etc included)
