switching from nikon d90... what lenses should i get.. I do not have a ton of money after buying the body

yeah ive got a 50 for nikon and i prolly use it the most. so that is a given.

some company should start designing interchangeable lenses for canon/nikon it has got to be possible. imagine how much money they would rake in

You can get adapter rings but you lose af unfortunately!

Grats on the purchase, its a big upgrade, you won't know yourself :)

Get better lenses before upgrading body otherwise you won't see much of an improvement by mounting cheap lenses onto your fancy expensive camera.
Personally I prefer Canon L lenses. They are expensive but you also get what you pay for. The L lenses generally produce more pleasant bokeh, better contrast and colors. Some of them are also water and dust resistant.

Your eyes won't believe that you're no longer seeing orange!

24-70 + 70-200 if u want to cover the ranges quickly.

I got this + a 50 aswell, and i am really happy with it.

Next purchase 85 1.2, since i'm mainly a portraiter.
