While the quality of these images is stunning, the colors accurate, and the texture vivid, the composition turns me a bit off. It's like... it's missing something. I would suggest looking at portraiture theory, especially that from works of art.

Also subject looking in front of camera = bad to me.

That the subject's eyes are pointing directly into the camera.
In this specific case it looks unnatural and fake.
