I have a 50mm 1.8 lens for my 450d, I got it around Christmas time last year and it isn't as sharp as when I got it.
Is there a way to recalibrate it or something?

You can send them away to calibrate them. All I would have to do is go to my local camera store and they'd send it away for me. It costs though.

I know this is stupid, but it can honestly be an issue. How are your eyes compared to how they used to be?

I only ask because just this week I went and got glasses/ contacts and suddenly everything is sharper.
