Finally had a nice sunday on the mountains, walked like 20 km (that's like 12.5 miles) with tons of equip in my backpack and had a chance to take some pictures.
Here's a selection of my fav ones.
Hope you enjoy, C&C always welcome.

Welcome to Val D'Aosta. A beautiful region in northern Italy.
Took this pic on our very first steps there.

A ruined house still used to shelter cows during late autumn and winter.

Works along the road. Some machinery is always left there to fix the road after the fierce winter cold.

A view of lake Miserin. An artificial lake that has also been our target for the day. After viewing the lake it was time to come back.

Left side of the lake.
I love the flare in this one.

Took my mate's bike to go around the lake. That's a tribute to my friend's vehicle!

On our way back with the sun setting down.
There was a lot of dust in the air since a jeep just passed by.

Last one, a view of the valley we left behind.
Yeah dust spots, some dust of that jeep went on my lens.

And that's all folks!

Nice shots Alan!

The first one, I really like the mountains in the background that look like shadows (not sure what you call em lol).

And the photo with the bike in it is great too! So beautiful!

I don't get how you got the sun to look like that and still get the landscape without it being a complete silhouette!! wow how did you do it?

Very nice Alan! I love #3 and #6!! Looks like a great place to hike.

@succulentdesire- small aperture and meter for the foreground. Plus the tokina does that to photos ;)

EXIFs should be intact in these pictures if you wanna take a look.
I use f/16 for that effect, and modern DSLRs usually meter correctly even while facing the sun, since they notice a strong light source and exclude it from the metering.
Plus the Tokina has a 9 blade diaphragm that gives 18ish diffraction rays. I still have to test it during the night for some citylife.

Thanks for comments so far, keep them coming :)
