i took this last night and thought it would be cool to do all the editing things to it

Photoshop, I still have yet to get accustomed to Lightroom. I haven't even reinstalled it onto my new computer, yet.

so gathering from wut i've read in the forums, is that lightroom is better, but photoshop is easier?

Lightroom is not better. It's just faster / easier / more efficient. It limits what you can do so that you won't have to depend on PS for everything. I'd learn it over PS.

That is so true. I had no idea lightroom was better in that aspect.

Indeed. If you ever need to edit more then 10 photos at a time I would strongly suggest Liightroom. However, personally, I have yet to find a need to do anything over 5 photos yet. So until then, it's Photoshop all the way.
