Hey everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a camera in the price range of the 3 I just listed. This will be my first dslr. Right now I'm looking at the Nikon d5100, d90, and the canon rebel t2i.

I'm a graphic/web designer and I'm sick of using/paying for stock photography. I figure this will be a solid investment.

The most important qualities for me are:

1. Image quality
2. Image quality
3. Image quality
4. FPS
5. Auto Bracketing for HDR

I DO NOT care about video.

I've compared them all on snapsort and the d5100 seems to be the favorite. I want your guys opinion. If I'm missing any camera's feel free to point me in the right direction.

Please help!

Id imagine if your using your camera to make money go with atleast a d7000 or 7d but out of those 3 id say the d90.

If you care that much about image quality, you're going to need high quality lenses. The body is not as important, especially in a studio setting with controlled lighting.

Say I went with the d5100, what lenses would you suggest?

Do some google research watch some youtube videos. We can't really speak for someone we don't know.

With that in mind no sense in spending an excessive amount of money.

I have the d3100 and my friend the d90. Both using the same lens, not much of difference with a standard static shot.

Go Canon. You'll regret Nikon every time u have to fix orange skin tones.
