Otherwise basically I prefer the price of a nikon d80, but most people are advising me to splash out on a d90..

Anyone here with experience of a d80 and or 90 that can comment?

The AF speed, accuracy and speed of handling are all superior on the d90

The d90 has live view - which is handy

the sensor is a lot better and handles colors better

d90 has movie - not sure if your into this, but movies on an slr can be amazing dependant on lens

the d90 has double iso capabilities than the d80

the d90 is 1.5 frames a second faster than the d80

Go Canon. Nikon is for noobs.

the D90 is great for beginners, i upgraded but miss alot of feature on my D90

i love my d90 but the d7000 just came out and i wish i had the money for that, its nikons new high end amateur camera. has a lot more cool features, but my favorite, even though small, it has two memory card slots.

I honestly don't think I could ever even find a use for this other than if I'm shooting for a few days with no chance to empty the cards...

I have an 8 gig and I can put about 300 RAWs on it, I think I've filled it maybe once.

im goin to england next summer gonna catch some Manchester games lol
