Don;t know how many oppritunities come up in a year where i get a chance to shoot fireworks. Unforunetaly me and my friend are on a limited budget and dont have much room for me missing a shot for "experimental" sakes?

anyone dealt with fireworks?

well I know that last year Eek and Xandriia posted some really nice fireworks photos. mine were kinda shitty so I'm the wrng person to ask ^_^

as in possible aperature and shutter speed because i also dont want the night sky looking grey/purple.

the colour of the sky is determined by your white balance.


you want a longer shutter speed to record the whole "bang" onto the film (sensor lol) aperture depends on what your shooting - example if you want to get a foreground with building or something. if your focusing to infinity you can go wider open.


I would aperture prioritise and determine the shutter speed by lowering or raising the iso

it was the wind lol it blew the firework right towards us so it ended up over my head rather then ahead of me ahah soo i had to move my camera.
