Sunday evening was beautiful and the light was just amazing to take pictures!
Only problem is the background behind the horses at the stables where my cousin boards her horses...
For the fun of it I took pictures of a white Percheron mare (draft horse), also to get practice shooting horses in action, because it is not an easy task...
Wasn't sure how to get rid of the background, so I blurred it, what the heck :p
I also learned that holding the button is not a good idea cause it doesn't re-focus that way... I need to release and press again each time :(
I had to trash very many beautiful action shots because of out of focus
Oh well, better find out now than when (or if) I ever get a client for horse photography :D

If anyone has an idea to make the first picture better background wise please let me know!

would help if i could, but i suck at proccessing
but regarding the focusing; you should have a setting that can be changed so that if you press the button 1/2 in, it will focus on the subject, and then track/keep focusing on the subject as it moves
not sure if ur camera has it but i think most do, also it obv is not perfect but does seem to work most the time

I thought I had it set correctly... on AF servo or something like that (camera is downstairs and I'm too lazy to go check :p ) but the focus I get is not correct when I keep the button pressed :(
Battery was low, could it have an impact? I could barely get 3 pictures in 2 seconds.... using my 50 mm lens :o
