I have my first "contract' next week and I need advices.
What am I covering, some mini olympics and a little marathon.
Actually I have a canon t1i with a battery pack, a 18-55 and a 55-250 f/4

Any advices would be awesome

First: good job on making money off photography! You're on your way to getting hated on by art purists all around! (we all know why they hate :D)

will you actually need a written 'contract?'
If so, let me know. I'll elaborate here on what I believe is definitely needed.

OF course! I've done ~26 hrs of photography business contract research. Most of it is school-related. Yuck.

First: this is outside, correct? If so, F4 will be more than enough.
Practice panning something that runs ~ the same speed as the marathon runners.
Practice panning weird directions so that you can get epic jump shots with blurred out background.

1 big tip: don't worry too much about focusing on face, unless they're coming towards you. Just make sure that the photo isn't blurry, isn't overexposed, and that you get creative!
