d3100 vs t3 what would you say has the vote? for me to buy as an entry level dslr

Ive seen the specifications side by side but never used either.

If you plan to make money, go with the T3. If it's just a hobby. D3100 (or even just a D3000 if you don't want video)

I'd say save about $200 and go for the T2i.. I see almost no advantage to buying the new T3i.

If its a hobby Xs or Xsi and get a nother lens.

Nother lens should be a 50mm

He didnt say T3i. He said T3. Which is basically a T1i.

I was in the same situation earlier today and went with the D3100. I've always had a thing for Nikons. Spent $650 for the D3100, I believe the T3 was $570. So far, the D3100 was worth the little extra. Got a free case and uv screen with it too.

i went with the d3100 as well aha. convinced the guy to make a package deal. got camera with 18-55mm, bag, and a 8gb 200x sdhc card for 699. so saved me about 80 bucks
but yah every penny spend was a proper penny spent ahah. also my friends have nikons so i take their lenses
