Hello people!

Last night I finally had a decent chance to take some night pictures.

That was an interesting experience, and I'm pretty happy with the results.

We had a very nice and windy day, the sky has been clean almost all day long. Too bad that some clouds appeared right during the night.

Also, the moon was quite bright and it gave too much light.

I will wait for another clean and moonless night, anyway this is what I got.

Comments etc etc

This is Verbania as seen from mount Mottarone. A nice city on lake Maggiore:

The same city on a larger view:

I moved my camera to the right. Verbania remains hidden on the left, on the right you can see the lake Orta.
This wants to give just a wide angle panorama:

Another similar panorama:

A close up of lake Orta and San Giulio island:

A cross on the top of the hill and the moon behind it:

And in front of that cross there is a tall antenna (probably my fav pic of this set):

And at last, a simple test I made, 3 groups of 10 pictures, 30 seconds each.
Nest time I will take my PC and I'll take many more pictures to make a smoother trail. I'm quite happy with the outcome anyway:

I also have a 65 Megapixel version of it.
