Just got my new kicks and a few extra lighting modifiers to play with.

I personally do nto like the flash usage and these seem under-exposed to me.

The BG is underexposed but the kicks are perfect :o. I was going for the dark look. What don't you like about the flash?

First shot, don't like the shadow on the sole from the other shoe, needs some extra light there to remove it.
Second, again a weird shadow caused by the other shoe, and I can see the edge of the glass!

I also think they're both a bit too dark, and white background, surface would be quite a bit better.

The angles don't really do the shoes much justice, I can't really see what the shoes look like properly, which is the whole point of a product shot.

I love the reflexion!
Is that taken on a mirror?
To me it looks really good, better on black than white background..

reflection is nice, but yes this looks too dark :/
