Looking forward to build a master/slave system based on 2 flashes.
My choice was 580 ex ii + 430(good or?).

Is metz 58 af-2 any good?
Also would be metz + 430 any good? Or should i go metz+metz?

if you wanna use master / slave stick to one brand. I´d go with the canons if you can afford it.

i got 1k eu to spend, problem is that with this budget i need to buy a white bg(with clamps and tripods to hold it) + 1 umbrella and tripod for the flash.

umbrellas and light stands for compact flashes are cheap as hell. I guess if you go with one background setup, 2 umbrellas including light stands and flash holders, plus the 580ex II and the 430 ex II, 1000 € will be more than enough.

I ordered the elinchrom 400ws studio lights + 2x 60x60cm softboxes + white / black / grey 2,75x11m paper backdrops today. got exams atm, but I think I`ll be starting towards the weekend, when the stuff arrived. pretty excited.

What you guys think about this setup?

just realized it doesn't show, anyway it's elinchrom d lite 2 to go set.
Costs about 7xx euro.


mmh i just found the d lite 4 for the same price on amazon, could it be?
