You're best off with a 70-200 L F4.

You might also want to look at Sigma's 70-200 f2.8 if you need the extra stop ever for night shots etc. It's $800 new from Adorama.

I've heard bad things about Sigmas quality control, but I must have got a damn good copy then. The focus is great even is low light and it's my sharpest lens. No front or back focusing either.

However, if you are always outdoors in the sun Canons 70-200 f4 will win hands down.

I've gotten offers on it that are greater than what I was selling it for, but one of my photographers is using it, so I feel bad taking it away. Besides, mines the L IS version, which is more expensive.

Ah - makes sense. It's not a bad one to keep, either, just to say you have it. I's not giving mine away!

You haven't posted anything new, so it's sorta being wasted.
