Bought a finepix s2500d, took 80 pictures and now it stopped working..

If I can get a full refund I'll just pay some more and buy a dSLR..

Any recommendations ? Pricerange ~ same as the Canon EOS 1000D

well considering most of the rankings the Sony Alpha A 200 and Sony Alpha A 300 are the best entry level DSLRs atm, followed by the Canon EOS 1000D. I´d suggest Canon tho since you´ll have the chance to get much better and more optics and other things. sony is really consumer oriented I think. depends on your ambitions towards photography. if you´re interested in nikon there´s also the D90 you might want to take a look at.

if you can afford a bit more then go with the Nikon D90, certainly the best in its price range

Well.. yeah Would like a camera that lasts longer than 3-4 hours.. thats for sure lol :D..

Tried to return it and even tho both Fujifilm AND the dealership where I bought it cant figure out whats wrong, they still give me loads of crap.. for instance.. cant get a refund (WTH according to the law in my country they have to give me a full refund!)

They will only give me STORE CREDIT!!! USELESS when all other cameras are like 100-200$ MORE than at other stores...zzzz

So far my photography journey is turning out great! Lol :D
