I will be shooting these in a week, weather pending. As I have no experience doing this... Just want any advice that you guys may have. What type of shots do you think I should take, how many, what lenses, should I take a flash? Anything you could tell me, I would greatly appreciate. Thank you all...

Should be shot: 6-7 pm, 1 hour before sunset, as light is most flattering then. It's called the 'golden hour.'

Location: Somewhere special for the couple, ie: where they met, first date, etc. or a really nice location with either buildings, plant life, or water.

Lens: ~35mm for wide angle shots, 70-200 for candids / portraits.

Flash: if you have wireless capabilities + a flash stand (or person to help), yes. Otherwise, shoot mid exposure (faces under-exposed, sky slightly over-exposed), and fix in PP.

Poses: Be sure to get 3-10 'portraits' - the kind that go on display, a wall, etc.

Next, focus on creative shots using your surroundings.

Continue with posed 'OMG' shots. My flow sounds something like this:
(couple is ready to photograph)
"Face each other" (snap)
"Give her a kiss"(snap)
"Ok, now put your foreheads together" (snap)
"now hold hands, get closer together, and face me" (snap)
"ok, bride scoot in behind groom and wrap your arms around him and think about your wedding (snap)....now something sweet he's done (snap)"
" pretty bride, rest your head on his shoulder, like a cuddle" (snap)
hold hands and walk towards me slowly. (snap) not too slowly! don't be a smartass mr groom (snap after laugh) now, look at each other and pretend you're happy. (snap at ackward face) "i'm kidding, bride, when was the first time you told him I love you?" (snap)

Finally, tell them to flirt around, pretend you're not there. Focus on close-up shots, faces, 1/2 frames, nn full unless they're walking. This works really well if they're sitting down, or eating ice cream, or playing a game.

As Jasmine Star, wedding photographer celebrity puts it: "it's not the kiss. It's the moment right before, and right after," that produces the most beautiful wedding/engagement images.

Fuck, wedding secrets revealed :D - I <3 you.
