Hey guys, i'm very happy to see this section is alive. When i suggested to make such a section a while ago, i wouldn't have thought it would work... so i'm really glad.
Anyway, i've been doing some photo with a Nikon d60 using a basic 18-55 mm which isn't mine actually, but in some days i'll receive finally receive my first SLR camera, it's a Canon 450d
and i also bought a 50mm 1.8 (gonna get the 1.4 later :p). Be sure i'll show you some more picture very soon :D
Anyway, i've shot these in Nantes (france) and it was really a lot of fun finding cool spots to take pictures :)
If you have any suggestions or advice you're welcome! thanks for viewing.

yo timo, didnt know you were actually interested in photography. how´s it going? your shots lack in composition and sharpness, and the weather conditions scream for b/w conversion.

Rookie: actually it's been a while i wanted to do photography, and i recently purchased my first reflex so i'm really excited. Do you have any suggestions on how i can have better compositions (maybe some links or something :p)?
Humm and for the sharpness, i did at least half of them using a tripod so i don't really know how i can fix that.. do you really think b/w conversion would make them better? i mean the values would stay the same, maybe it's just a matter of taste? oh and i'm good, still drawing :p and you how are you?

Kratos: that's really nice! thanks for the info :)

I'm surprised about these relatively negative comments. I actually think these pictures are pretty good. "lack composition'' ? Sorry but I really can't agree with that.. They're not really the most standard pictures but that's what I like about it. Of course it's not perfect but interesting for sure.
