"Please outline where you see the future of the photographic/digital field"

I need to answer this but I'm kind of stumped.

My only thoughts are how Photographers are more popular in the movie industry than they were years ago with film directions looking for more of an artistic camera angle, how a lot more photographers are now they're own digital imaging specialist ontop of being the photographer... Pathetic answer.. I'm just drawing a blank.

What you answered is rather accurate.

Also, add that " due to the popularization of photography and the improvement of consumer and prosumer cameras and lenses, the photography market will become even more saturated, forcing 'professionals' to embark on intense specialization careers that emphasize 'art,' 'branding,' and synergy technologies like fusion photo/video.

Thank you, I would have never thought of it in that perspective.

I also need to go over the basic knowledge of photography coming from someone who is only slightly educated on photography, which is me.. But I go over what the SLR stands for, photosites and stuff and it doesn't sound like a legit answer.. Anyone care to shed some slight on what I should be going over when someone asks you to "Outline your basic knowledge of Photography".

    "What makes a good picture?"
How to create a proper exposure
    Composition
    Post-processing techniques

    History of Photography
    Kinds of photography
Important figures in photography - both past and present

SLR vs DSLR vs Point n' Shoots vs cheap Disposable film cams
    Sensor / format size

    Lenses: lengths, coatings, AF technologies

    Photography in Businesses
    The future of Photography

That should be a summary of a general photography info about Bachelor's Thesis
