Ok this is what I want to try to specialize in (photo wise).
Horse photography.
You have a horse, you want artistic pictures of your horse, you call me, I drive to your farm or show and we start from there...
It was my cousin's birthday last Thursday and she owns horses as well, so I thought I'd do my first photoshoot for her and get some practice at the same time.
We scheduled Saturday late afternoon for the best light.
All pictures had to be done with big gloves on and even then my fingers went numb..
All the horses, being outside, we quite excited by this activity and made this a lot of fun!
I was using my 50 mm lens and had to be inside the paddock with them...
You can't be afraid of horses to be doing horse photography from inside the paddock because they come dangerously close to you and they want to play...
Horses have a tendency to play a little rough and have big hooves
When you look in the camera and you only see horse color in the little view thing, you know it's VERY close!!!

I hope I can find some 'clientele' for this type of photography!

I uploaded them in lower quality for faster upload :p
The name at the bottom is just for Flickr uploads, I give the originals without the name on a cd :)

1 isnt overexposed, actually seems just hint underexposed. the subject is the horse, so you are supposed to expose by the horse not the sky, unless making a silhouette.

Yes exactly...
Not easy to take pictures of very dark horses on a snowy background...
You either see the snow or the horse, but almost impossible to have both depending on the angle..
And ofc horses don't care about your angle
They just want to have fun :)

Well the washed out sky just makes the picture look bad, it can be fixed in post production.

no way that sky could be recovered and still look good. either way it doesent make the picture overexposed, even if the sky is over exposed

It wouldn't look perfect but still better than this.

you can see blue sky slightly on it still, and you can see that its all noisy and some gray stuff around the clouds and clouds lack details and are just some bits of random gray noise here and there on white. it would look absolutely horrible if you pumped up the sky. dont argue about things you clearly got no idea about
