i have no experience with these. does any one else have one?

I am getting a 80-200 2.8 nikkor one touch lens for a couple of weeks. i'm not sure which version though although i know its a AF. I'm aware from google that the one touch can mean focus/zoom all on one movement. some versions have a different barrel movement.

Any advice for me to use this?

it's not 75-150 but think only what you will get with ur is better f/ and focus distance am I right ?

Two rings over push pull any day. But the 80-200 2.8 is an absolute beast. Awesome lens. What will you be shooting...? I almost suggest a monopod.

I loved my 100-400. The push pull design actually works very well. I can adjust focus yet zoom at the same time. Works very wrll for airshows, widelife shooting or sports IMO.

im going to an air show providing the weathers good, and if not then just whatever i can find to shoot. shame i have to use it on a cropped body :/
i may have to borrow it again in the summer

Using it on a cropper just gives it more reach.
