I know! Through the balcony!

Random but fun shots, nothing serious again....

1. Well hello down there!

2. Well, that's a lot of snow for the couch to be sitting on...

3. Lifing the couch up

4. Literally lifting the couch up

5.

6. Almost there!

Annnd, well, I neeeded to get my butt out of the way, so I didn't get a "final" picture.

Well I definitely like it better. Which setting to the right over there did you change? Temperature? If that's all it takes, I might consider editing my future winter photos if they come out this way.... also, is there a WB setting on my camera I could use to save from editing it?

You'll notice on the right side the settings I used. Adding +31 on the yellow and +6 on magenta (temp and tint respectively) sort of balanced it out. Now remember that snow is very reflective, so you actually have to underexpose the image, regardless of what your meter tells you. If you want to keep more detail and avoid the snow from looking blown out, reduce contrast but add blacks instead. Finally, reduce vibrance a little bit to remove some of the yellow-ness of the sunlight because of the edited WB.

As for your camera, try putting it in 'sunlight.' You'll get ~10 more magenta and ~30 yellow.
