I don't edit my pictures much, but I use PS and gimp depending what I want to do.
Since my computer doesn't meet the requirements for PS, some functions are not usable but gimp is a nice complement for me

Lightroom 3.2. The noise reduction will make even Sony photos acceptable.

photoshop cs5 and plugins for it i use noise ninja and alien exposure 3

sometimes i do resize and some enhance color with irfanview
