I'm not too fond of your post processing. #1's selective coloring is ugly :( B+W conversion is great. I also love Bokeh Monster.

Selective coloring? There's been no such thing done to these photos. Her hair is retardedly vibrant in every picture.

By desat other colors except the purple, it looks very selective color- like. Just a variation, but the same concept. But to each his own. Also careful with the blown out whites :)

It hurts my eyes. Haha. Anyway, great shots! Is the 85 worth selling my 50 for? Or should I just save up and have both?

Are you shooting DX of FX?

love the 85 on FX, but would probably stick with the 50 on a crop body.

Currently DX, waiting to see if they announce a new body to jump to FX.
