Hello guys,
there's a very thick fog tonight, I think I'm gonna have a walk and take a few pictures of my town.
Can you give me some good hints to help me?
Someone told me it's good to keep a +1 EV to get a better exposure. Is it true?
Any other hint you can give me?

OH and I took this one a few minutes ago, did a fast edit and voilà:

I don't dislike it, but maybe you can help me give it a more realistic feeling?

I wouldn't bother using Av mode and slap it on manual to do some long exposures

What kind of mood are you trying to capture? Lonely/ creepy or heavenly like this?

Honestly, dunno.

It seems that my eyes see the fog in a different way than my camera does, no matter which settings I choose.

Also, it seems that my camera can see "deeper" in the fog, I can see deeper field of view on the screen then with my eyes.

Well, I'll be out pretty soon, maybe I'll post some results later if I like them

The problem with the photo is that there is no nice lighting. Exposure won't change much.

Maybe try capturing this scene at sunrise/sunset?

i kinda like it, but the clouds brown color does sorta suggest pollution or smoke
