I'll be in france for spring break this year, and I really don't want to rely on my iPhone to capture the photos..
So, what's the best (more than likely just a point and shoot) camera?
I'm looking for one at a reasonably affordable price.

Canon Rebel T2i with a 50mm 1.8. ~1k
Or a sony with a 15-500 mm lens (you can do your niece's wedding with this!)

I don't think of a dslr that is of that price range unless it's like a used D20 with a 50mm 1.8 lens.

Thats why he was asking about good point and shoots o_o

I think a lot of people like the Nikon coolpix, but dont take my word for it, I dont know much about p&s cameras.
