My first real try at shooting smoke.

"Today I started some smoke photography and I also finally got my brand new flash and wireless receivers in the mail! Out of all the smoke shots I took I think this has to be one of the most interesting.

A very simple strobe setup, just a YN560 on my light stand high and to the left of the camera."

question: what'd u use as a background?

Last time I used a black background, it was of someone smoking during a wedding and I had to use the night's darkness with someone PP. Since I'm likely to repeat that shot, I'm wondering if you had something less ugly to carry around.
