Ladies and Gentleman, i would like to welcome you to our 5th Photography contest!! Despite some negative comments about the entries the last two times... i feel this is still going strong and this new theme will bring more people to it more then ever. Again, this month's theme is chosen by our very own Zex! Winner of the last two photography contest! (Record holder)!!!

This fifth contest will run from Dec.31st to Jan. 30th

Now the usual rules.

Here is how it's going to work, submission will be sent to Markie via private message, he will then forward the PMs to me at the contest deadline. I will personally strip the EXIF data and send them to AlPi via email after the contest ends to post on his site to prevent further compression lost. Once that is done, i will make a new thread discussion thread with link to the voting event organized by Zex, and link to the photos hosted by Alpi.

Contest Theme:Unusual Perspectives.

We're splitting the pot between three winners in 60:30:10 ratios.

• 1st Place- TBP
• 2nd Place- TBP
• 3rd Place- TBP
• ***For any reason that we get a tied between first, second, or third. The tieing position pots will be combined and split into two equal prizes.

Total pot currently: 3400 fg!!

Rules-

• Picture must be taken by YOU.
• Picture must be taken within the contest time frame.
• Only ONE submission per contest.
• EXIF data MUST be intact with date/time the shot was taken along with other technical details (Focal length, Aperature, shutter speed etc).
• Please resize image to long edge of 1024 pixels and 1024 only! Not 600, not 800 but 1024!.

*Please keep post-processing to a minimal, it's a contest for photography, not image editing.

Also, I'm pretty sure Zex is okay to mediate this contest too so if you wanna contribute to the pot, leave a note here and send him the fg

**Reminder- Please read all the rules and make sure the picture is in the correct size and EXIF data is intact!! I had to pm too many members towards the end of the last contest to get correct submissions. Since i won't have access to the photos till the last day of the contest, i'm on a very tight time restriction. If you can't supply me correct photo within the last 12 hours, your submission will be VOID

I will post the meaning of unusual perspective in this thread for the people that need clarification.
Unusual perspective: To take a picture from a different point of view, vantage point, outlook, angle, aspect or context then you would normally see it. I find this theme will allow the photographer to be creative and will allow everyone to participate as you can take a shot from just about anywhere.
