I have Sony A300 with 18-200mm lens think of buying Helios 44m-4 but before that happens I want to see some opinion of people who actually using this kind a set.
Also heard about mirror crash risk with some full frame DSLR because the rear lens goes inside the body? Is that true ?
And finally where I can buy cheap one?

sony a300 is not full frame camera

i dont think anyone here use that combo, but Helios 44m-4 seems like decent lens, but personally i wouldnt bother with 5x mm with only f/2

Will have to use step down ring (52/62 mm) that's what I find out and seen some nice pictures shoot with this set up.
Just thinking is it actually will fit my Sony body camera since for shooting macro I will have turn it up side down...

ok, got it!!! Helios lens + step down ring ;-) and few uv filters cost around 10 $
ready to roll with those bug's !

Thinking, if somebody actually has a300 here and what lenses I should get for my baby... ?
Have 18-200mm, Helios and that's all for now but I'm hungry as hell to get new lens !
