Vivitar Series 1 105mm f/2.5 Macro. Wasn't 1:1. Not 100% what I was shooting at, maybe 1:2.5ish... Was slightly breezy, and shot handheld ofc... I just think it was focus was off... Tip of the wing on the right hand side is spot on. 1/2 inch makes a huge difference macro...

I don't have problems with sharpness with this lens usually.

Probably shouldn't have shot @ f/11 either. I should have gone with f/8. Oh well. Still learning.

If kept small, it looks nice. The only reason I use my macro lens is for jewelry shots, so I don't have to deal with annoying bugs :D

More like bugs don't have to deal with annoying you, sticking a camera lens in front of them. Shooting bugs is all about patience, and clearly I don't have enough. :P

Personally I think the lighting is pretty bad which made the whole picture less saturated and contrasty. I usually try to avoid taking any closeup nature photos when it's really cloudy.

Soon as the sun came out and warmed this little guy up, he woke up and flew away. I tried waiting.

You ought to enhance the colors.
