My light source is a 9 LED bulb flash light, almost identical to this:



It took awhile to get the light right though, to keep it "soft" or however you want to describe it.
If I extended the light to far you could see light trails, etc.
Got really annoying

almost looks like it was done via computer graphics haha its a amazing picture i have a very similar chess set

I don't even have Photoshop
The only post-processing I do is in the Canon program that came with the picture.
Only thing I did to this was change the cropping.

I like these kinds of chess sets, too bad I suck at chess

yah it just looks like it could be computer animated idk why just has that feel to me but i love the picture

Regarding the cropping... I think it is perfect the way it is..
It really has the 3D effect with the cutting of the edges.
I don't think you would have had such an effect without it
