Got slammed into the police car while one took my wallet to get my id. I was just trying to find good christmas lights to photograph.

I was in this neighborhood near my house the other night at like 12:00am.
I was across the street with my tripod and camera pointed at this house taking pictures of their lights... well some lady opened the front door and let her dog out.
Grabbed my tripod and walked away haha.

Then the other night at 2:30am [I have insomnia I think...] I was in another neighborhood taking pictures.
I went into someone's yard to take pictures of the lights on their fence, thank God no one saw me.

What ended up happening with the cops?

My information was written down. I gots a bruise on my chin from where I wa sslammed since I didn't turn sideways completely. Just to piss the same two cops off (i've seen em before), I will walk every day from 12-1 am and carry a camera from now on.
Wish I could have a better story for you guys.

Where were you when you were arrested?

If you were in a public area and didn't do anything wrong. i.e transpassing or voyeurism. I would sue them for assault.

They don't even have the right to ask you for identification unless they suspect that you're in the process of committing a crime.

I didn't have the camera with me, unfortunately. I was simply scouting. I really don't have the time nor the desire to sue them. This morning I found out that there had been some heavy family violence in a house that's a few streets to where I live and the guy had stormed to the streets after beating the girl. I guess I must've had similar physical characteristics. If they're using this sort of aggression and urgency as means to find a woman beater, then I don't mind being mistaken. I will find out of they caught the guy after school today.

Weird... so weird....

I can't believe the cops there are so ... mean. You were doing nothing wrong (or were you), so I don't feel the need that they should be able to treat you in such manners. Most cops here would probably ask what I was doing, not just slam me into a police car because I was taking pictures... I don't get the whole story, I think you are lying!
