Just curious on what modes people use! Do you switch a lot depending on what your photographing?

By modes I mean ones like A-dep, M, Av, Tv, P etc.

It depends what i shoot really.

Manual when lighting condition is difficult or when i'm not capturing a fleeting moment.

Av most of the other time or when i feel lazy.

Tv when i'm shooting airshows etc.

Edit: Never Program A-DEP or god forbid.. auto.

I can't say I've ever used A-DEP before. Interesting

M, unless I'm being lazy and don't really care about the shots - eg. photos at someone's party for facebook, then it's P with a high ISO.

I shoot in Manual, Aperture Priority when I shoot handheld macro, and sometime Shutter priority when I am lazy with action/ sports shots.

I'm lazy quite often.

100% manual in weddings/events (auto in family things that aren't business).
I hardly use ETTL from flash. Usually setup wireless manual flash, and I can quickly setup up to 4 different flash strenghts to get a desired look.
I manual focus 15% of the time.
I'm starting to use Monopod & tripod more.
I'll post a picture of what one of my cameras looks like when I get to my other computer. It's taped all over, with drilled and glued attachments.

Heard Nikon's poor quality frustrates its users, and hence they get lazy.

AV
TV
M (only when it is needed)

In this order.

Jpg or Raw depending. For travelling the first one, if I am doing something important I use the second.

I never use auto ISO.
