Anyone have any advice on a good digital camera? Im looking to spend $100-200

Dont need any DSLR, just a point and shoot type of camera. Atm im leaning towards either a sony dsc-w350 or a Nikon s6000

seriously when it comes to compact cameras you´re best off just going to a store and playing around with different models. they are all about the same in some way. some or better than a few others, but yeah, I´d test it out in the store.

Canon SD1400IS.

nikon point and shoots are generally pretty crappy. sonys tend to be pretty good, but not sure about that model. canons are either good or pretty crappy. i dont know much about other brands in that price range, but i do know that they wont offer anything especially good. look some reviews from internet, not just some user reviews, because they tend to be made by people who has no idea about cameras, but some serious reviews, look ar high iso performance etc
