I am the happiest man alive. Finally pull the trigger on it. And along with it.. the legendary Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DC. Can't wait till the battery is finish charging!

Definately let me know about how the Sigma 50mm 1.4 does........ might get it aswell.

I will as soon as the damn battery finishes charging!! Hopefully i get a sharp copy that doesn't need to be sent in for calibration.

The camera seems really well build and big... Can't imagine i'd say that since i came from a 50D.

Now i have to rebuild my lens collection..

I had to sell my 50D, 15-85IS USM, Tokina 11-16, and my Sigma 30 to fund this new body and the sigma lens.

Bahh..

The viewfinder is lots and lots bigger then my 50D, and so much brighter! I love it! So much easier to compose

I´ll sell my 1000D + acessories + kit lenses + tokina 11-16 aswell. that should get me around 800-1000 bucks for my new lens.

Theres a little part of me that keeps telling me i got ripped off.. I sold so much to get so little.

that 50 1.4 seems very well built, I've only heard about it, but it also looks pretty damn awesome

The 5d mark II though, damn that camera seem to be nice.. Congratulations!

well will be even worse for me, because my stuff isnt worth shit

I think it´ll pay off in the long run tho.
